Purchase advice and support

Have you fallen in love with a used boat? Are you about to invest a significant sum of money? Is the boat worth the money? Does it potentially have hidden defects? That's where we come in: Provide an overview as per your instructions Prepare a professional summary of the current state Explain in a personal meeting Identify factors that decrease or increase value Provide information on any deferred maintenance, if applicable Focus on all aspects that affect your safety The primary goal of a purchase consultation is to facilitate your buying decision. This is  achieved by gaining an overview of the essential components of your desired boat, enabling us to identify any potential pitfalls. As a standard practice, a purchase consultation does not include a written report. The potential problems, as well as the positive aspects, are identified and explained in a  personal consultation with the client (buyer). The client, or potential buyer, decides the level of detail required for the inspection. Buyer and seller must discuss beforehand whether the vessel should be inspected only on land, only in the water, or both. It is also necessary to clarify whether a sea trial is possible, whether it can be conducted under full engine load, and whether the vessel is ready to sail, i.e. rigged. Please note that using a crane will incur additional costs. These are typically borne by the  potential buyer. Buyer and owner must clarify this beforehand. If you are interested in our support, we would be delighted to hear from you and will gladly  discuss the details of the engagement with you in a personal conversation.

How much does a

buyer's consultation

cost?

The costs for the client depend  heavily on the location of the boat  (travel expenses!), its size and  complexity, and the answers to the  questions in the accompanying  text.  Therefore, we unfortunately  cannot provide a fixed price. However, before you commission  us, we will gladly prepare a cost  estimate and agree on the amount  of compensation.
