Owner coaching (module 1)
We've seen it many times. People enthusiastically embark on the adventure of buying a boat, but often forget how complex boat technology can be these days. This is especially true when it
comes to sailboats or sailing yachts.
As soon as you're finally alone on board for the first time, the questions start pouring in.

How do I use this?
Our approach is to share our many years of experience with you. We explain all the important
boat components, answer your questions, and all with the goal of making the boat you've bought
"your" boat as quickly as possible. Since every boat and every owner is different, it's difficult to
say how much time will be needed for coaching. Therefore, we charge for individual coaching on
board your yacht or boat based on the time spent.
Of course, you are welcome to agree on a fixed budget or a specific number of hours with us
beforehand.
In addition to the booked or required hours, travel expenses and, if applicable, meal allowances
will be added.

Compact sailing training (module 3)
Why do we call our sailing training "compact"? Quite simply: there
are countless boating and sailing schools. You can learn the basics
you need or want to acquire there. The major drawback: these
lessons always take place on charter yachts or the school's own
yachts, and in groups. If you then try to repeat painstakingly learned
maneuvers on your own boat, things can quickly go wrong.
That's why our training always takes place on owner-occupied
boats and is designed for individuals or couples.
We aim our courses at boating novices and those who may have
just switched from a motorboat to a sailboat.
We want to help you become familiar with your own boat as quickly
as possible.

Harbor and maneuvering training (module 2)
As a continuation of the Owner's Training module, we offer harbor and maneuvering training. Everyone has seen those videos on social media of crews struggling to dock their boats. This is often
derisively referred to as "harbor cinema." However, this completely ignores the level of experience
involved, the weather conditions and other factors. In a one-day seminar, we will familiarize you with all
the relevant topics in theory and practice:
- Good seamanship / Trip planning
- Weather and the environment
- Line and fender handling
- Necessary technical checks before departure
- Crew safety
The truth is: Nobody is perfect, and every boat owner has experienced difficulties during harbor
maneuvers.
Our courses are specifically designed for beginners and those new to boating. Our training takes place in
your harbor, on your own boat.
Anything else is pointless. This is the only way to learn how to handle your own boat. Our training
sessions are designed for individuals, but we are also happy to train couples upon request. Individual
training lasts approximately 4 hours,
you should plan for at least 5
hours. The price is based on our
affordable daily rate, plus travel, meals and, if necessary, accommodation costs.
There is a 25% surcharge for a partner on the net prices listed below.
